This is a brand new kit for the GTO's that ATI now offers as of 2007 that includes the larger F1A head unit. The F1A head unit flows more air than the D-1SC, and is meant for modified engines, meaning a forged bottom end is required. It may be possible to install an F1A on a stock bottom end engine for the time being, but I do caution you that unless the engine has a fairly large camshaft to help bleed off boost, plus headers and an aftermarket exhaust system, possibly better flowing heads, you may have a hard time keeping the boost down to a reasonable level. If you have forged rods and pistons, possibly a stroker crankshaft, then this blower is for you! The 5.4:1 transmission gear ratio in the F-1A blower means that it won't need as small of a pulley as what the P-1SC-1 and the D-1SC require to make boost. The larger pulley means that the blower will have more belt wrap on the supercharger, which is always desireable.
